I admit it, I didn't think I would enjoy rug-hooking - at all! I decided to give it a try because my bff Andrea claimed I would fall in love with it! Well, I love it, really!! Half of the fun is going to Andrea's studio and having some girl time with a glass of wine. It's very relaxing and the wool colors are just beautiful. The room is like a wonderland of colors. I'm also signed up for her Rug-hooking class at Bayport-Bluepoint Library in late Oct. http://bprt.suffolk.lib.ny.us/.

Full Circle - or Complete180

Well, it didn't take me long....after just one month of being an unemployed teacher, I made homemade cupcakes for my daughters' field hockey pasta party! I remember making cupcakes for their school birthday celebrations, 2nd grade may have been the last time. And I'm not even taking about just baked at home; I made them from scratch! I'll have to take a picture and post it on here.

New Day - New Week - New Attitude!

Well, I figured out how to get on to post- I have to go through blogger.com; my sign on link doesn't work. This is Prudence and boy would I like to be sitting on the beach right now. Not sure why but missing my mother a lot today; she loved this weather. I'll be there one day - I know it. It's my friend Lori's birthday today. She has two miracle babies who will be 4 this month!! Jillian is home sick with Lori; Timmy is at school. She wouldn't have it any other way. She's so happy to have a family. Please say a prayer for her if you have a minute. It's also my step-brother Seth's birthday. It's been almost three months since his little Gracie died of SIDS. Another one that could use a prayer.....
